Loft Castellano I

The project is situated on a site of significant historical value, originally a family home that later served as a boarding house for immigrants and workers connected to the port of Montevideo. Respecting and enhancing its architectural qualities, the design proposes a reconceptualization of its spaces, with most units arranged around a bright central courtyard with abundant vegetation. The result is an exclusive building with 14 apartments and a commercial space, located on the iconic Pérez Castellano pedestrian street in the Old City. The proposal prioritizes the reuse of existing infrastructure, minimizing construction interventions, and responds both to the growing demand for temporary housing associated with tourism and the need for permanent residences in the area, thus establishing itself as an attractive investment opportunity with high appreciation potential.
